Find answers to frequently asked questions
Can you transition from early years Montessori to a later years Classical education?
Where will you be located?
We are currently in the initial planning phase, and the final location will largely depend on funding and securing a suitable space within the Katy area. Our aim is to establish the location within a 5-10 mile radius of the tri-county marker, commonly recognized as the heart of Katy.
What is the timeframe for the school opening?
Since we are still in the very early stages of planning and gauging community interest, it will likely be at least two years (Fall 2027) before we see the start of a school. The timeline will heavily depend on the support and engagement of the community. Additionally, some of the accreditation processes can take 18-24 months to complete.
Will you be accepting state vouchers?
Since the voucher system is new to the state of Texas, we should conduct thorough research before making any decisions. Private schools that choose to accept vouchers must become TEA-accredited, a process that can take 2-3 years. Additionally, we need to ensure that the standards associated with the accreditation process align with and do not conflict with our school’s mission and vision.
